We have an excellent opportunity to work with an excellent care facility in Manchester on our traineeship programme. This role has the real potential to lead straight into an apprenticeship with the same employer.
Social Care Job Duties:
- Assessing the need for care and protection of individuals or families
- Ensuring that individuals or families receive the necessary support and protection
- Assisting in the implementation of policies that aim to safeguard the vulnerable and uplift communities
- Making recommendations or referrals to other services or agencies
- Creating and maintaining accurate case files and records
- Developing accurate assessments, which may entail collaborating with other professionals
- Working in multidisciplinary teams, which may include health professionals, occupational therapists, psychiatrists and teachers
- Supporting the development of the patient/s
- Taking part in First Aid training as required
- Ensuring that all Health, Safety and Hygiene requirements are always adhered to
- Preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the patient/s
- Preparation of food for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks

The Programme
8-12 week course combining work-based placement, Employability Skills and Functional Skills (English, Maths and Digital). After successful completion of the course we will put you directly into an approved apprenticeship scheme or into full-time work.
