We have a fantastic opportunity to work with a popular gym in Preston on our traineeship programme. This role has the real potential to lead straight into an apprenticeship with the same employer.
Personal Trainer Job Duties:
- Helping clients develop short and long-term goals
- Analysing client behaviour and the client’s abilities
- Training existing clients with their fitness goals and competitions.
- Giving advice on nutrition, health and lifestyle changes
- Leading group fitness classes when necessary
- Helping clients with their workouts and advising them about important safety concerns
- Lifting and arranging gym equipment
- Recording and creating reports of client’s progress
- Creating workouts that are safe for the client to replicate
- Talking to members about their goals and introducing them to personal training packages
Personal Trainer Skills and Qualifications:
Motivating, Kind, Passionate, Compassionate, Enthusiastic, Hardworking, Good Judgement, Professionalism, First Aid, Excellent Customer Service, Ability to Work with All Fitness Levels, Understanding, Strong Organisational Skills.
The Programme
8-12 week course combining work-based placement, Employability Skills and Functional Skills (English, Maths and Digital). After successful completion of the course we will put you directly into an approved apprenticeship scheme or into full-time work.
