Employers
Supporting your workforce with
high calibre young people

We believe that any business is only as good as its people and therefore investing into their training and development is the most effective way to deliver sustainable, long-term growth.

Our mission is to empower and develop young people whilst creating long term opportunities, not just for the individual, but for the employer too.

Pavilion’s training programmes have been designed by industry professionals to give young people the requisite skills to succeed in the workplace and achieve their potential.

Our dedicated Employer Engagement team will seek to understand your organisation so we can tailor our training programmes to meet the future needs of your workforce. For further information on our training solutions, which are typically fully funded, please fill in the enquiry form and a member of the team will be in touch.

    Step 1: Career Mapping

Our Employer Engagement Team will understand your recruitment needs and job opportunities you have available before agreeing on a programme of training delivery to prepare individuals to secure the vacancies on offer.

We will then arrange a meeting with you, the employer, and DWP to initiate the SWAPs process, before submitting for approval and validation of the proposed vacancies.

Step 2: Employability & Sector Skills

Once the candidates have been enrolled, our 1-2 weeks pre-employment training will be delivered in our Jewellery Quarter training centre by our full-qualified Skills Coaches. Key skills developed include:

    • Professionalism in the workplace
    • Customer service skills
    • Teamwork and collaboration
    • Time management
    • Equality & Diversity multicultural awareness

    Step 3: Work Placement

Candidates will embark on a 1-2 week work experience placement where they will receive hand-on experience and training (essentially an unpaid induction for the designated role). Training will be bespoke to your organisation but will include basic areas such as:

    • Provide an overview of your business and its values and culture
    • Give a tour of the workplace
    • Offer guidance on using any equipment relevant to the role
    • Provide guidance on health and safety practices
    • Explain your workplace practices such as security procedures, dress code, sick leave and absences and break times

    Step 4: Guaranteed Interview

If you are happy with the candidate’s performance at their exit review or work interview and you feel they are a suitable match for the job role and company, you can simply offer them a planned start date. If the candidate is unsuccessful Pavilion will support them to secure a job elsewhere.

    Step 5: Progress into Career

You will get paid for every individual you employ…For each candidate recruited that stays in employment for 13 weeks (minimum 16 hours), you as the employer will receive a one-off incentive payment of £500 with no upper limit on how many candidates you employ!
